MOBILITY & STRETCH

Mobility and Stretch is a class designed to help develop resilient joints so you are prepared for fitness training and everyday life. You will learn how to increase the mobility of your joints, how to regain true ranges of motion, and how to build injury resistant muscles. We rotate between front splits, middle splits/pancakes, and thoracic bridge mobility.

Class Goals:

Move better and feel better.
Increase range of motion.
Increase strength and flexibility.

CORE & STRETCH

Core conditioning focuses on the different core muscle groups such abdominals, obliques, hip flexors, glutes, adductors and lower back muscles. A strong & mobile core is a critical element of all gymnastics skills and movements. You will learn how to stabilize your core, engage it at the right time and properly stretch it after each training session.

Class Goals:

Build postural and core awareness.
Increase structural balance.
Reduce recurring injuries.

TUNE UP & STRETCH

Tune up & Stretch is a class that will break down the nuts and bolts of human movement to improve body awareness by using tools such as self-massage balls, foam rollers, yoga straps and blocks in order to break down muscle adhesion and improve overall posture, body awareness, and flexibility. You will learn how your body responds to certain stimuli and how to address minor and major issues with it.

conditioning

Gymnastics conditioning is designed to increase your heart rate and build long lasting cardiovascular health. This class will challenge you physically and mentally through strength endurance workouts, explosive training, speed, and power drills. You will feel stronger, faster, and more physically prepared for gymnastics and other physical activities.

Class Goals:

Increase cardiovascular health.
Improve physical conditioning.
Build explosive power.

Level 1 Classes

Strength

Strength training is the foundation of any gymnastics program. Each month we cycle through programming covering upper body and lower body elements. The class targets pull ups, dips, push ups, core strength, support holds, hangs, jumping, explosive movements, and various other strength components of gymnastic that will help you unlock incredible features of strength and skill.

Class Goals:

Gain functional strength.
Increase muscle mass.
Reduce recurring injuries.

HANDSTANDS

Handstand class focuses on handstand balance while continuing to develop a strong foundation for more advanced skills such as handstand holds and press to handstands. We cycle through inversions, wall supported strength work, balance drills, entries and exits, core compression, support holds, straddle sits, and press to handstand drills.

Class Goals:

Master the handstand balance and form.
Develop impressive core strength.
Increase spatial awareness.

tumbling

Gymnastics Tumbling class will work towards intermediate level tumbling skills. The class cycles between the basics of rolls & saltos, cartwheels & roundoffs, handsprings, and walkovers.

Class Goals:

Developing Body Awareness and Control.
Enhancing Speed and Agility
Build explosive power.

Level 2 Classes

Strength

Rings

Rings class focuses on developing the bodyweight strength to achieve higher level gymnastics skills on the rings. The class will target core strength and upper body muscle groups through bent-arm and straight-arm strength training methods. In this class, you will work towards muscle-ups, shoulderstands, L sits, levers, skin the cats, and mini rings routines.

Develop shoulder stability and mobility.
Develop impressive core strength.
Increase upper body strength.
